| Is it safe to use my
credit card?
Yes, shopping at All Things Arctic
is safe. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology
to ensure data encryption of your personal and credit
card information. If you feel more comfortable,
you can always mail or call your order in to us.
What form of payment do you accept?
Online and by phone we accept MasterCard, Visa,
American Express and Discover, Paypal and
Money Orders. For mail in orders
we accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover,
Paypal, Money Orders, Bank Checks and
Personal checks. For International
Orders, we accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express,
Discover, Paypal, and International Money
Orders. All prices stated are in US dollars
($USD).
Do you accept International Orders?
Yes, we do. However, due to the increasing occurrence
of International fraud, All Things Arctic may request
to see a copy/scan of "Official" Identification
(such as a passport of other ID) and reserves the
right to refuse any international order whatsoever
without reason. Notice will be sent to the customer
in this situation. Some orders will require an additional
handling fee, when this applies we will notify the
customer (via e-mail only) whereby the customer will
have the right to reject entire order. Any customers
who do not respond to the e-mail notification will
have their orders cancelled within 3-business days.
What about Import and Duty Taxes on International
Orders?
You may be subject to import duties/taxes, which are
levied upon importation to your country. Additional
charges by customs must be borne by you; we have no
control over these charges and cannot predict what
they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country
to country. If you are unsure of these policies, you
should contact your local customs office for further
information. Customs forms for all international packages
list the value of your order's contents.
We declare the full value of any item shipped outside
the U.S. on any custom forms we are required to file
and mark the items as merchandise.
What do you charge for shipping?
Please see the complete description of our shipping
policies and charges. Also, before the final checkout
when you place an order, our system automatically
displays the shipping charges for your review.
When will my order be shipped?
We make every attempt to ship orders on the next business
day after an order is placed. In some instances,
such as during a promotion, this may not always be
possible. We will ship your order as soon as possible
and notify you if there is going to be an excessive
delay. Delivery to your shipping address
will vary depending on your location and shipping
method you choose at checkout.
What about your returns policy?
Within 30 days of receipt of your order you may return:
* any book in its original condition.
* any unopened CD-ROM or Video.
* any other merchandise item in new condition,
with its original packaging and accessories.
We will issue a full refund for the price of any
item you return that meets these conditions. We
can refund shipping costs only if the return
is a result of our error.
Do you give out my personal information to anyone?
It is our policy to never give out
a customer's or user's personal information to any third
party.
What about back orders?
If we are sold out of an item or it is temporarily
unavailable we make every attempt to remove the product
from our website until it is back in stock or available.
We will make every attempt to contact you if all or
part of your order is backordered.
What format are your videocassettes?
All our VHS videos are the NTSC 60 Hz format that
is used in North America. These tapes will not
play on most video machines in Europe or other countries
that use PAL, SECAM, or other video standards. We
also carry an ever-growing selection of DVD's.
