What is All Things Arctic
All Things Arctic™ is an internet based e-tailer and information source for Arctic-related topics. We are exclusively an Authorized Retailer of Canada Goose Outerwear.

When We Started
The idea of All Things Arctic™ was conceptualized in 2000. After two years of planning, meetings and fundraising we incorporated in October of 2002. Our website was launched in February of 2003.

Shipping Policy

All Orders Shipped Next Business Day*

Domestic & International Orders - Using United States Postal Service (USPS):

USPS rates are weight & location based and are automatically calculated online through your virtual shopping cart during checkout. Our Ship Rate Shopper Tool allows you to view shipping rates directly from any product or catalog page on our site. And as part of our Checkout Process, you will also be able to view USPS Ship Rates prior to completing your order.

Domestic & International Orders - Using United Parcel Service (UPS):

UPS rates are based on weight, shipping address, and package dimensions which are automatically calculated online through your virtual shopping cart during checkout. Our Ship Rate Shopper Tool allows you to view shipping rates directly from any product or catalog page on our site. And as part of our Checkout Process, you will also be able to view UPS Ship Rates prior to completing your order.

Restrictions:
UPS Ground and USPS Express Mail are not available to APO/FPO addresses.

* We make every attempt to ship all orders on the next business day, however, we do not guarantee this policy.

Return Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with any item in your
order simply return it to us in it's original (new)
condition and we will refund the product price.

Our returns policy:
Within 30 days of receipt of your order you may return:
* any book in its original condition.
* any unopened CD-ROM, DVD or Video.
* any other merchandise item in new condition, with its original packaging and accessories, including any tags..

We will issue a refund for the price of any item you return that meets these conditions. Items returned not in their original condition will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. Customers wishing to exchange an item may be responsible for return shipping fees.

Please note: Canada Goose items are subject to a small processing/restocking fee. This fee is waived in the event of an exchange.

We guarantee all of the products we sell. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, simply ship the product to the address below with a note on the Sales Receipt explaining the reason for the return and whether you would like a refund or an exchange.

Shopping at All Things Arctic™ is always safe. We follow the strictest protocol for processing your credit card and personal information. We use a SSL (secure sockets layer) technology server for all personal and credit card information. SSL is the industry standard for encryption technology. Essentially, your credit card and personal data are broken down and encrypted for travel across the Internet so that it cannot be deciphered if it were intercepted. SSL works with Netscape Navigator (v2.0 and above), Microsoft Internet Explorer (v3.0 and above) and America On Line (v3.0 and above). Your privacy is very important to us! Our privacy policy is simple, yet strict. We will not release any of your information to any other party outside of normal order processing - period. We do not sell, lease, rent or distribute any of our customer, user, or member lists. This always has been and always will be our policy!

All Things Arctic® collects personally identifying information from our customers, members, and users during purchases, information requests, member sign-up, or from contests and information surveys. The information you provide will be used solely to process your order or provide the information you requested. We use several 'drop-ship' vendors where partial or total order processing takes place. We require these vendors to keep our privacy policy when dealing with our customer orders. Travel information requests are directed to our affiliate travel agencies, their respective privacy policies apply.

In addition to our solid encryption security we take an extra step to strip your credit card number after your order has been processed. Some companies store this information in easily "hacked" databases. We remove this risk altogether.
