Overview

Does it cost anything to become an affiliate?
No! There are never any costs to become an affiliate, only commissions to be earned.

How does the Affiliate Program work?
You place an All Things Arctic banner, button, image or text link on your Website, and we track your customer referrals when users follow those links to our site. Every month, we send you a check for commissions earned on all sales that were a result of customers following these links.  It's that simple! What sort of an obligation am I under?
There are no obligations or time limits that you must be an affiliate for. You can elect to discontinue being an affiliate at any time. Simply write us of your termination request, we'll settle up your account and deactivate your affiliate status.

Tracking and Payment

How much will I be paid?
You will earn a commission each time a customer follows a link from your site to ours and makes a purchase. Currently we pay 15% for sales referred from text, button, image, or banner links.

How are orders tracked and credited to my account?
All links from your site to The Arctic Connection will contain an "Affiliate Partner Link" with a special Affiliate ID that we will provide so that every time a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when a purchase is made.

When will I be paid?
You will be paid monthly, based on the calendar year. If your commission for any month is less than $25.00, the total amount will be carried to the next month. Once it passes $25.00, a check will be sent to you at the end of the subsequent month for the complete amount owed to you up until the end of that month.

Do I get credit for a customer that returns to All Things Arctic after the original sale?
No! Commissions earned are only for the original purchase of a customer coming from your site to ours. If that same customer returns to our site and makes subsequent purchases you do not earn additional commissions.

Can I track commissions I've earned from day to day?
Yes! We offer a password-protected log-in area so that you can monitor commissions earned whenever you feel.

If I control more that one site, can I sign up those sites as well?
Yes! As long as the other sites meet our standards as described below.  You may simply add the same "Affiliate Partner Links " we provided you for your original site and referrals from other sites will be credited to your account as well.

Setting Up Links

How do I create links to All Things Arctic?
Once you've signed-in and created an Affiliate Account, you simply select "Create Affiliate Links" and you will be provided with an "Affiliate Partner Link" to be used in the links to our site.  You may provide as many links to our site as you wish. It's that simple. Even beginners can create links in just seconds!

What is my responsibility as an All Things Arctic affiliate?
You are responsible for posting and maintaining the hyperlinks from your site to ours, that's all.

What is All Things Arctic's responsibility?
We will provide you with the tools and support you need to make the links to our site.   You can contact us for further help by email or telephone (603-879-0975).   Of course, we handle orders, ship products, bill customers, pay you for customer referrals, and manage Customer Service.

Can I use the All Things Arctic name and logo on my site?
Yes. Users want to know they are buying from a company they can trust. When using the All Things Arctic logo, please do not alter it in any way.

Can I change and update my links whenever I want?
Yes. You may want to change and update the links on your site when new links are available or to use ones created specifically for seasonal promotions (i.e., Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day).

The Bottom Line
We want to work with all types of websites, from large commercial sites to individual Web pages, and everything in between. Anyone may submit an application, and we review each and every potential affiliate website before accepting it into the network. We do reserve the right to refuse a site if it contains objectionable material, including pornography, explicit language or content, or support for violent groups.
